Even the most boring corporate presentation in the most over-used hotel ballroom can be enhanced subtly with a little creativity, which is where Mandylights comes in. Drawing on our wealth of experience from theatre, concert and even fashion events, Mandylights designers are able to enhance any event without resorting to the usual tricks. Recently, our staff designed custom staging, projection and lighting for a major Australian bank that mimicked the architecture of the company’s stunning new foyer – a concept that went against the ordinary idea of black staging with a projection screen behind the presenter.
Mandylights successfully brings the same concepts of visual design to corporate events – where screens and lighting change colour together, and scenic items can be made up of a mixture of hard materials, light and projection. For Mandylights, a corporate presentation isn’t an excuse to replicate an existing set design and duplicate audio visual concept, it’s a chance and a challenge for us to enhance a meeting without detracting from the message.
Gala Events and Celebrations
When it comes to corporate gala events, Mandylights has an impressive list of credits. In recent years, our designers have recreated the Hanging Gardens of Babylon on a Sydney wharf apron, transformed Singapore’s Chijmes entertainment district into a haunted Friday the 13th party, created spectacular light shows in underground caves systems, lit lavish dinners in the North Queensland rainforest, helped stage a dinner in an abandoned railway yard and even created the visual design for a showgirls party in the middle of the Las Vegas strip in the USA. Of course, the company has also worked in its fair share of ballrooms, function rooms and conference venues too, but our approach is always the same – to create the most spectacular, theatrical and unbelievable visual designs that leave our competition for dead.
