Completely In House

Differing from other production companies, Mandylights’ production and touring services are all offered completely in house. Everything from systems design to computer-aided-drawings (CAD), visualisation, equipment and transport / customs bookings is all carried out by the staff in the company’s Sydney office without external contractor support. This system benefits every kind of live event Mandylights works on, with the company remaining in control – and therefore accountable for – every part of the production process. In the past, staff have turned around CAD revisions instantly on site, generated conceptual renders and even costed the difference between local and international production overnight.

Unbiased Production

Sourcing equipment from a regular production house locks you in to using a particular stock of ageing equipment; regardless of the size of the rental company. Production houses typically align themselves with a dominant manufacturer or supplier for any number of reasons, which results in their clients always being quoted from the same stock or narrow range of equipment. As a design company, Mandylights’ designs are not limited by any stock of equipment; our relationships with production suppliers around Australia and the world enable us to consistently  source the most appropriate equipment from the most suitable production companies, putting the company miles ahead of any other production house; regardless of their size or local power by being able to negotiate deals for the most appropriate equipment for every production.

Unrivalled Creative and Technical Support

When a client engages Mandylights for a project, they instantly engage a team of dedicated designers and technicians who are ready to assist with any aspect of the production. Unlike freelance designers, Mandylights staff are all supported by the entire company’s resources – office staff and space, the visualisation studio, latest and greatest production software, not to mention the rest of the design team. If an event increases in size or experiences any difficulties, Mandylights is always ready to assist further. In the event that a staff member is sick, delayed or otherwise engaged, our processes ensure that the company can take over in an instant to ensure that there is no disruption to the production.
