Mandylights offers complete lighting and technical production services for both touring and single venue productions around the world. In its unique position as a production facilitator, Mandylights is almost always able to completely satisfy any equipment rider without substitution by using the company’s global network of suppliers to ensure the least possible disruption to the integrity of a system during touring. By using local, international or a mixture of suppliers, Mandylights tailors every system to each production’s unique needs with respect to budget, travel, equipment requirements and any other constraints imposed.

Our international crew has a flawless track record of managing systems in venues around the world – from arenas in New Zealand to theatres in remote China and everywhere in between. Our involvement on tours of shows including Cats, Starlight Express and Jekyll and Hyde have been praised by producers, lighting designers and production managers alike.

Being able to supply anything from operational crew through to full lighting, rigging and video systems, Mandylights; production and touring logistics department is almost infinitely scalable and mobilised at a moment’s notice. In the past, we’ve sent operators urgently to international locations to work on existing shows, and even had a programmer board an international cruise liner for a week to reprogram the ship’s show lighting at a few day’s notice.

Our in-house CAD skills have seen us create arena-sized technical drawings for all manner of events – even drawing audio, rigging and staging in many cases – and what’s more, our drawings can be produced and updated anywhere, instantly without the need to connect back to our office. All senior production staff are well versed in most major entertainment CAD software packages.

Above our experience, network of suppliers and crew and high level of mobility is our thorough understanding and appreciation for the creative process, with all of our senior systems technicians also working as board operators and lighting directors, who understand the need for accuracy, replication and attention to detail at all stages of a project.
